This is the core of SB which occurs over a 6 week period. Students are instructed by high school and college age students who are trained by highly skilled, teachers. SB students also complete up to three hours of homework nightly. Core courses include: math, science and the humanities while conflict resolution, performing arts, and sports serve as electives and enrichment activities. Students enjoy fun and interactive learning in classrooms of no more than 8 students per teacher. Summer faculty plan weekly special events designed for students to put learning into action.
